Halide Bulb Switch

Right now i have 10K bulbs i wanna switch to reeflux 12k's just to get a little more pop. they are 250W DE mostly lps with a couple acros. is this a safe switch?

Yeah its safe.

There was a thread in the SPS keepers forum a while back,& there were mixed views about the 250w 12K Reflux.The 400w people seamed to love.

Just food for thought thats all.

The 14k 250w Phoenix is a great bulb.IMO.

You'll be fine. 12K Reeflux with actinic supplementation is the best combination I've found for overall brightness and color contrast without the dull, monochromatic "blueness" you get from many 14s and 20s. My acros love them.
