Halide Display T5 Frag Tank?

Is it possible to have a metal halide display tank and then have a T5 frag tank?

yes, t5 are capable to doing not just the display tank but also a frag tank,

my display is mh+vho+t5, and frag tank t5, just a word of caution don't underestimate t5, you can easily bleach your corals, usually frag tank is not as deep, coral are raise, ect,

That was my concern. Are my frags going to bleach going from the halide over my display to T5's on the frag tank?

the caution, was to compensate, and acclimate the corals that's all,
you might end up raising the lights, ect that's all, if you are careful the shift will go smoothly and corals will do ok,

Thanks, can you recommend any t5's for a standard twenty gallon. I am tieing this into my main system.

I would start with two 39w ATI Aquablue with regular ballast like triad ballast or similar, and icecap reflector or similar,

T5 lamp PAR readings

and don't forget to post on
"Lighting, Filtration & Other Equipment "
