halide lamp changes

Hi guys, just wondering how often people change the lamps. Mine have been in for 8 months now and was wondering if now was the best time to change them

How long do you run them a day?

I would say you should change them... I run mine for about 6 months and only run them 5 hours a day

I run my 14k Phoenix lamps (250W DE) roughly 1 year between changes. Not sure if this is bad for my corals but it seems to keep my wallet in a better mood . I run my lamps 7 hours per day.

just about every fish shop in the uk
