For those of you interested, I finally found an article in which Sanjay Joshi did a spectral analysis of 14K, including the elusive Hamilton 175W 14K. It confirms my suspicion that it peaks in the 450 Nanometer range. This is why it looks so blue to my eye. It also rivals the peaks of some 20k's with very little activity in other wavelengths. However, have a look at how the Iwasaki performed (#11 - the last chart). I want to have a look at it before I replace my current bulb. Anyone running this (Iwasaki) bulb? How's it performing? Care to post a pic?
