hamilton HQI balast + which pendant?

i have an hamilton reefstar pendant system with 20k aquamedic bulb... time to replace the bulb and i broke one of the pins, so i can replace the pendant, but rather... is there a good single pendant that i can buy that will work without having to rewire?

im looking to light a 65g tank which has a base of 36 x 18 inches.

i emailed hamilton a picture of my ballast to see if I could upgrade to the pendent. Never heard back from them

well... the pendant that i will buy doesnt have to be made by hamilton.... i was wondering if ROIII or those mini PFO pendants will work... please help?

hey danny, SUP!!! either way if you replace the pendant with something other than hamilton, you'll have to rewire because the easy disconnects are different shape/size

hey mark, no the balast is remote and it seperates from the pendant, is that called a quick disconnect? anyhow where the pendant connects to the balast there are 3 pins, two round, one rectangle
