Hammer coral question

So I noticed today on my way to take a shower that my hammer coral had about maybe a 1 inch Brown like hair coming out of the center of it.

When I got out of the shower and came back it was gone..is it just pooping? Or is it expelling extra zooxanthellae? I wish I had a picture. Of it but here's my coral. He has been happy and opening up all the time

Hi could of been abit of fish poo that was free floating and just got cought up on the coral.....if it looks ok and it's opening up as normal I wouldn't worry
