Hammer coral trouble

Hammer coral is not opening. It is showing its skeleton. Please i need help!

Ph- 8
Phosphate- .09
Ammonia- 0
Nitrate- 0
Salinity- 1.025
alkalanity- 8
calcium- 440

It is also about mid way up in tank, and the power head is pointing the other direction from where he is

My parameters are just like yours, in my humble opinion perfect, and I've always had bad luck with hammers. Sorry to see yours like that, good luck bud.

How long have you had it? always looked like this?
My bet is your mag is very low

So does Mag affects hammer corals? Cool, I didn't know, I always thought that Mag was just to be able to balance Alk and Ca but nothing more.
