Hammer Coral

Hey guys,

I had to rescue a small frogspawn that had fallen and did some rearranging. I was wondering if Hammer Corals had to be in the sand. I was thinking about putting in on one of the rocks somewhere towards the left closer to the top but not to close the toadstool. I have that empty gap and its driving me crazy. Im doing my best not to go to the LFS and buy something to fill that gap.

Any other information on Hammers would be greatly appreciated also! Do they grow fast, water flow, etc...

Thanks!!!!

they require exactly what that frogspawn you have there requires (which is basically nothing) as they are both of the Euphyllia family. High light, low light, clean water, dirty water...as long as they arent whipped around too much in the current they can be placed and survive pretty much anywhere as long as its healthy when you get it.
