Hammer coral

I just noticed what looks as though my hammer is splitting. One mouth closed right up(looked like it was fused shut) a few days back, and now it looks like it has almost 2 mouths now. This is also happening on the other head(is a 2 head frag). My only concern is this huge bubble that's between the now 2 mouths, its happening on both heads but the bubble is no were near pronounced. Is this normal when the heads split?

Apparently some euphyllia will do that. My frogspawn has heads growing from the base AND has had the same kind of bubble on top for about 3 months now. My best guess right now is that one head has split into at least 4...
