Hammer Deflated

I've had my hammer for a little over a month now, and since getting it, it has split as you can see. But within the past few days it has deflated... No idea why. The oral disc has also been exposed at times.

It won't take any food. If I can manage to get some food on him, it kinda just floats away after some time. Makes no effort to grab it.

ATI T5 6 bulb with all ATI bulbs
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Alk 9.3 dkh
Calcium 420
Mag 1400
Ph 8.2-8.4
Temp 80.2

I also run GFO

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Here's an updated pic of it.... Definitely not any better... Is it possible that the further head is splitting?

Really at a loss here. All other corals are doing great

Geez I hate to say this but it looks like every other hammer or frogspawn I've ever tried to keep. They do great for six months then they do this. Every other coral in my tank is growing like crazy, LPS, SPS, softies, polyps, etc. I don't know if they prefer dirty or clean water. How old is your tank? Have you tried to change the flow it receives?

I can't figure it out either. My tank is about 6 months old. Have a bunch of SPS pieces growing like weeds (including acropora) as well. He is sitting about 11 inches below a koralia powerhead with an MP40 in Lagoon mode on the opposite side of the tank. I have tried alternating flow with the koralia above it and just straight always on flow, no difference.

His tentacles gently sway around.

check salinity, my lps is usually the first indicator of that.
i wouldn't dip yet.
what about fish/shrimp/crabs picking at it? looking at the flesh on the bottom, it looks healthy but the heads are obviously irritated

Mine is really picky about flow. I moved it once a week until it was looking better at the end of the last week that I moved it.

Alkalinity too low always makes mine deflate. Always looks better after I get it to at least 9 or 10 dkh
