hammer question

i looked into my tank tonight after lights out and i saw what looked like one of the heads was blowing a bubble from chewing gum. anyone seen or heard of this?

Is it stretching the polup towards the surface? If so it is an air bubble. If it were my coral I would poke a small hole in it to release the air. Then dip it in one of the iodine based solutions. I fear it will not survive like this.
