Hammer trouble

Had this branch hammer about a month. All was well til a crab knocked him off the rocks. Found him when I got home upside down in the sand. That was two days ago. He hasnt looked good since and tonight he was spitting up. Did the fall do him in? Before and after pics below. Thanks

No, i don't think the fall did it in. It may be releasing Zooxanthellae due to stress from the fall, so don't be surprised if it bleaches (goes white). Just leave it alone and it should recover. Still has polyp extension so that's a good sign.

You might want to pull it out and give it a dip in CoralRx or something similar. I read about that working well in the "Rescue Coral" thread that's floating around.
