Hammer won't split

I've had this hammer for almost a year. It's doing amazing and has gotten huge! I don't necessarily need or want it to grow a new head but curious why it hasn't yet.

LPS aren't necessarily the fastest of growers.

Are you sure it's a branching hammer? if it's a wall hammer it'll just keep getting bigger and never split.
