Is it ok for a hammer to be close to mushrooms and polyps? Or should nothing be near it at all?
Or is it that it just shouldnt be next to other types like torch or frogspawn. The only thing really touching is the base not the meat of it really.
Hammer and frogspawn will get allong fine. It is always better to give corals plenty of room, but I don't think it will be a problem the way you described it.
