hammers and clowns

have just upgraded to t-5's and want to get a home for my clowns. I currently have all softies: many mushrooms and zoo's). Have mated pair of black and white tank-raised perc's. Am scared to get an anemone (have never tried) so was thinking of getting a hammer with hopes that perc's might go for it. Likely?

I'd give a BTA a try personally if the water parameters are good. I don't think that a BTA is that much more difficult to keep than many of the LPS IMHO.

Am just a bit worried about feeding a BTA. The way my tank is constructed its kind of hard to lift hood to target feed. I have a tiny feeding hole in the canopy into which I funnel small bits of food to the general poplulation...... I would have to target feed the BTA right?

Well, strictly speaking, no, feeding the BTA is not 100% necessary. They CAN survive on photosynthesis alone if the conditions are all very good. Most people feed them though and you will probably need to do this as well. The BTA would probably do just fine with one silverside feeding a week though.
