hand lotion

So I expect to spend a large portion of my weekend with my hands in my new 100g. Saltwater dries out my hands like crazy, but I am concerned about using any lotion it I may put my hands back in the tank before I shower. Is there a hand lotion that is "reef safe ish"?

Thanks,

John

John,

I would stick away from any type of lotions, as they inevitably all have some sort of oil or hydrator that will seep back into the water. Stick with the sealed plastic gloves and you cannot go wrong.

Sugical gloves is what i use and i seal them with saran wrap anytime i am going to be in the tank for extended periods of time.

with my physco damsel though now I need to find something for my arms :P

Well if I can buy that jewel in your workshop I will just be able to climb in with them :P Besides , mah mama said he was da devvvvvvvval ! :P

I have tried a homemade fish trap to get him out but i ended up getting every single other fish and all the nassisis snails instead !

John just keep a bucket near by to rinse your hands every few mins.

i wonder if you could coat your hands with a very thin layer of bee's wax prior to you starting?~) of course you would probably loose the wax off your finger tips but it would protect the rest of your hands and arms!~) i don't like gloves period!~)

!~)
