Hang on back skimmer in sump

What do people think about me having my berlin HOB skimmer in my sump. I do not have a refugm, but did put some live rock frags and some "plant" clump (that I cant remember the name of) in the sump. I also have a light I turn on at night. The skimmer pulls water from the sump and then also returns it to the same spot. The return pump to the main tank is also in the same part of the sump.

Any opinions or thoughts.....good or bad....

Hang on backs are fine for those who have limited sump space. I have not tried the berlin but the Remora comes highly recommended.

Putting a HOB in the sump should not be a problem.

My biggest concern is that it doesn't get as much crud as it use to, so I was worried about the placement. Anyone else have an opinion?
