Hang on skimmer recommendations

Setting up a 27 gallon aquarium in my sons room. No sump just want a hang on skimmer. Stocking will be pretty minimal and no corals. I want something small but my main concern is that it be as quiet as possible. Any suggestions? Thanks nick

I use a Eshopps PSK 100H over my tank and I am switching to the same skimmer again only because my old one has an atman and I want the sicce 2.0 .... anyways, the eshopps hob skimmer line is fairly quiet, with just a slight hum in comparison to other hob models.

You could also go with coralvue/octopus hob line, deltec, hydor slim skim, or aquamaxx.

My reef octopus BH2000 produces more skimmate and more efficiently then my last 3 skimmers put together.
