Hang on Tank skimmer recs

I am looking for a hang on tank skimmer to replace my SeaClone 100. That skimmer works well if I can fidget with the venturi every day, but this is an off site location that is visited less than once a month. Any recommendations for a H.O.T. skimmer for a 100g tank that is very stable and requires low maintenance? Being a quieter model is also a bonus here.
Alternatively, is there a mod to the SeaClone involving an air stone instead of the venturi?

Check out the Tunze skimmers. They mount inside the tank but don't take up a lot of room. I have a 9002 nano on my 29 and it works good and is quiet,and after you get it adjusted for how you want it to produce skimmate you can mostly forget about readjusts.

Might want to check out the Deltecs. I have a MCE300 and like it. I think a MCE600 would be the right model for your tank. Check out the Deltec forum in the sponsered section.

For a big tank, I would also recommend the Tunze DOC. I made the mistake of putting a Deltec MCE600 on someones tank. Never again. Pathetically small collection cup, very finicky, and worst of all, likes to overflow all over the floor.

The Tunze is a possibility. Any recs for an AquaC Remora Pro by anyone?

I had a Remora Pro on my 75G and it worked well. I used a Mag3 with it.

Remora pro + POS bigtime. If you have to get a HOT, get either a tunze in tank or a bermuda hot skimmer. Those are the only decent options out there. Otherwise you get decent or junk.
