Hanging Kit Question..

So I just ordered a Radion g3 and the hanging kit. My plan is to hang it off of galvanized steel piping since my ceilings are too tall. Lowes is able to drill the holes in the pipe for me so I can attach the hanging kit to the pipe..but I need some help..So does anyone know..

...What size the holes are in piece E, the hanging mount base?

Thanks!

Wait. Disregard my answer. Didn't read your post thoroughly.

The hanging kit doesn't actually include the screw for attaching it to the ceiling.

No worries. Haha. I know it doesn't which is why I'm asking. :P if you have the hanging kit what size screws did you use? :)

The kit has a 2- piece thing that the cable connects to. The bottom half of which gets attached to the mounting surface. Then the cable goes into the top piece which screws onto the bottom
I used regular 1 1/4" sheetrock screws to mount mine to wood.
Those screws have like a 1/8" shaft.
If you're using round material Then that hole is either going to have to be drilled all the way through so you can use a nut and bolt OR the hole will have to be threaded to whatever size screw you end up using.
IMO A better choice would be to use a flat stock

Okey Dokey, Thank you sir!! I have access to a bench press drill at work so I am able to go all the way through which is why I am going with piping, plus its fits the look I am going for better. :)

The cables in the hanging kit look to be at least 8 ft in length. If you have taller ceilings I would just go to a marine store and buy some stainless steel cable in the length you need. The look will be much nicer than having hanging bar coming out of your walls.
