Hanging\Mounting Viparspectra 165's

I have a 90 gallon aquarium with a full enclosed wood hood (apx 10 inches tall inside) and I am getting a pair of Viparspectra 165's. What are ways that I could mount them to the canopy? I'd prefer them to be at least 5 inches off the water.

When I had my Photons, I removed the hanging bolts in the top of the light and replaced them with 3/8" bolts about 1 1/2 inches long. The bolt head was under the top cover. The I sandwiched fender washers between two nuts to slide into strut that I mounted to the canopy. This way I could slide the lights into the strut.
I had the same dimension from the top of the canopy that you have. Sorry I don't have any pics because I have removed that setup as of last year.
