Anybody using the Hanna checker for phosphates and alkalinity? Last time I looked they were 200$ now I'm finding them for 50$ that's a big change. Thoughts?

if you look hard they are around for 40 sometimes i love them i have them all and they make life so much easier as far as testing goes

I use the 713 low range phosphate checker. But there's also the ultra low range phosphorous meter 736. They both work very well.

I use the alk and ulr phosphorous checkers and love them. I only test my ca once a month so Im happy with my salifert kit for ca.

I use and like the alk, calcium, and ultra low range phosphorous. Some people have problems with the testing procedures, and when first released they had hiccups. But if you are thorough and consistent with testing they will give you great results.

I use the phosphate & Alk and like them ...
as for the Ca, check out the thread about it in the
Hanna section, I for one had issues with it, but someone came up with a new procedure that seemed to help...
Your luck/mileage may be positive
("procedurally" speaking; IMO I'm not seeing the upside of the Hanna Ca over Salifert, et but....)

I've been using the Alk and phosphate test kits for almost 2 years and like them. I'm not sure about the Ca test kit yet but I'm working with it. Scizzle, where did you see them for $200.00? I have never seen these checkers priced that high. Usually around $40 - $50. Check out the sponsor forum here for where to buy.
