Hanna Checkers

Well, I fired up the Hanna Calcium Checker this morning.
So far, the only thing I don't like about it is the powdered reagent envelopes.
Something like the Hach reagent pouches would be much better.
Hosed the first test, got so involved with the RO/Di water part, I forgot to add the 1 ml of tank water, so I guess my RO/Di water is at 200
second test, below;

I don't remember the last time I tested my calcium, I do remember it is always a guess as to when the color change occurred.

It would be nice to have a probe that will keep track of alk cal and mag :D and also show us the usage history so we know how much to dose. I think am asking too much.

How fast is it to do your cal test using this new toy?

I hear that Tom, I think I am becoming addicted to my new alk checker. That may change when I have to buy the reagent again.

Calcium refill is 19.99 for 30 tests on MD
Both Alk and Cal show a 8.99 on BSRS for 25 tests

Not sure if this is correct:spin2:

I am using Lamotte alk test kit and it is the best I've ever used. Very simple to use and very consistent. I am courious how it compares to the Hana though.

You know I've always used the salifert kits and was going to change to Lamotte but the Hanna and my salifert kit seem to be running very similar numbers. Variance of no more than .05 dkh so far so good.
