Hanna Pocket Phosphate Meter

I have one. Very accurate IME. I was disappointed to have a 0 reading after testing my algae-ridden tank several times when I first got it. I assumed it was because the algae was using up all the phosphate that was present in the tank. This was verified when Dre came over and I tested his water. I got a low level reading from his water and he didn't have an algae problem, so i know it works.

Yes, it was 0.03, which I was shocked  This is on my list to get soon.

I've given up on phosphate meters. My tank also had a horrible algae problem and the light meter would read zero!? Yea, because the algae was absorbing all of it. So, I didn't see it's value. I judge phosphate levels based on algae growth. Hope that helps.

That is kind of what I was thinking. I have reduced my feedings a lot and have noticed very little algea growing even on my glass at this point. I don't think they are too high, I really want to check to see if they are too low.
