Hate to be lied to by a Moderator. If you disagree with the Gods of the boards you get banned, if you are right and can prove it the thread gets deleted.
All bow to the power of the Mods!! (tongue in cheek)
I had my say, was lied to and never answered, and where I proved they lied to everyone on the board in the large tank forum they deleted the thread.
So I cancelled my support for RC. Until this is a community and not a ego filled power tripping monarchy, I cant support it anymore.
Not saying this is all mods, heck most are fine, but a few spoil it for the rest

seriously, if everyone on RC relentlessly made fun of me, its not like I could sue RC....look at TV, famous people get made fun of publicly all the time
if I owned a bunk company and someone on RC said my stuff was crap and it was true, its not like I could sue...everyone would just know not to buy my junk anymore

A thread got closed. It wasn't deleted. I wasn't removed from view. It was closed.

Okay Mike, I was done, but if you are going to call into account my opinions and WHY I am not that happy with the modertion of ONE moderator who is beerguy I am happy to have that discussion.
There is 90% of RC that I enjoy. There is 10% that I dont. My tank is being sold in the 90%. Beerguy is in the 10%
I dont like being lied to. Period. Ever. In any facet of my life. You lie to me, you make me mad. Can I bring it to the attention of others that Beerguy lied? No, the thread gets deleted that points it out. So what other choice do I have? My only recourse is monatary, and that is what I have chosen to do.
I will continue to take part in reef keeping discussions, I will continue to give frags away, I will continue to advise others on the boards. But I will not support with my hard earned dollars a place that lies to its members and when that upsets them threatens bans to the members.
Again, I was done, but I wont allow an attack on my character.
