maybe he was hidng not sure if i should pull him out or what, any suggestions as my grouper sna lion are eying him up , i have been keeping them both well stuffed with food,:mixed:

take the goat out of this tank, return him and get your $$$ back. Predatory fish will try to eat anything that comes reasonably close to fitting into their mouths.

Just caught this update. 3" goat will not make it. I had a 7" yellow goatfish that was doing great for about 3 months, then it started to not look so good. Triggers, wrasses, puffers, groupers especially have shown aggression towards it. Even a tang. At 3" it doesn't stand a chance.
