How does the channel hold up to the heat that the LEDs create?

Does it dissapiate it enough, or have you supplemented fans on them?

Why I ask is that I was thinking about using the same channel to light my cube with LEDs (Instead of a traditional heatsink), but was unsure how well they 'lost' the heat from the LEDs.

Not as good as heatsink would( I used square, c-channel should do better, more surface area, but ACE or HD didn't have a size I needed. Yes, I'm adding fans right now to keep it cooler.
