i have a pair and the females got a ton of eggs underneath her abdomen. How do i go about feeding and caring for the young ones. Theres nothing else in the tank except a bunch of softies and a drawf coral banded shrimp - and shes got eggs too ! . any direction would be totally awesome .

Wondering how it went. I don't know anything about raising the young but hope you had some help with your question.
does'nt appear you got any from here :(

Im not sure if there young go planktonic, that would be something to look into. Ive always wondered how to raise shrimp.

yes, they're planktonic. You would need to isolate the shrimp in a separate tank without filters otherwise the released juveniles end up either swept out or as food for the other inhabitants.

You will need to set up a separate system if you are really hardcore about breeding harlequine. I'd say just save yourself the trouble and let your corals feed on the high protein planktonic hatchlings. Is is almost impossible to raise the young in captivity.

My Skunk Cleaner dispersed her larvae and in between the feeding frenzy I was able to catch about ten of them, I put them in a QT with the filter off and then I put an airline in with a small steady stream of air bubbles. I then added live phytoplankton, frozen cyclopeeze and some small pieces of nori just to see what would happen and now, they have been thriving for 5 days. I'm not sure if they will make it but I thought it would be interesting to try. I posted a pic in the fish breeding forum of them 5 days later.
