I was amazed when I first got my HS that it left the Fromia starfish alone. I added a small Chocolate Chip Starfish each week and the HS was very happy. I was a couple of days late with the new CCstar and the HS got my Fromia starfish and took off some of the legs and left it alive and now it is up on the glass away from the shrimp. I was shocked that it would eat the fromia - but guess it was really hungry.

I'm going to have to make note of that. IME they ignored fromias.. even when directly fed.. guess not.

Yep.. if you want other stars with harlies you gotta keep them occupied :fun4:

Hence why I still got a ton of asterinas in my reef.. :deadhorse1:

As far as I know, no starfish will be left alone. If they are hungry, they eat.
