Nice shot I have a little blue guy also. What type of starfish do you feed? Do you have a little farm set up? or do you just buy him a star when needed?

Actually I didnt know he ate starfish untill I brought him home. Fortunately I bought two red starfish when I got him. I've had him about a week now and havent seem him touch the starfish. I think im gonna go get a Liknkia (sp) and see if he'll take to that. What do you feed yours?

Star fish is it's only source of food. I bought 10 chocolate chip starfish, I keep them in my sump. It seems that when he gets hungry he will come out and start swimming, floating around the tank. So when he does this I just cut of half an arm of the chocolate chip let him have it. Chocolate chips regenerat pretty fast so if you have about 8-10 then you should have a steady supply of food. I would do some research but this method has worked for me for about a year now. This would probably be the easiest way to keep the food supply. Or you could just just buy him a star a month if they are not to expensive were you live. Hope this helps

Thanks for the info.
Hes been crusing the tank so I gave him a red starfish and he seems to be happy now.

Where do you get them? Are they safe with fish? Just so I have this straight...you feed the shrimp the starfish? Please PM me if you can...I don't always find the threads when I go back looking for them.
