Jerry-You may want to spray a light coat of Varathane over the woodwork. It is so gorgeous. My husband sprayed mine with several coats after he stripped it and refinished it.

Yeah I was thinking of moving over to an external pump...but the mag was such a work horse for me on my 90g that I decided to stay with it...I beat that thing to h3ll and back!! If anything I'm loyal!! :) ...
besides the heat...any other issues or am I opening a can of worms!!

major restart issues when using a Ca reactor and kalk....I'm off to work, more on this one later.
 
Well I placed an order with Bulk Reef Supply during the Black Friday sale...and I got 3 LUMENMAX ELITES, 3 new RADIUMS and a brand new OZOTECH POSEIDON 200MG COMING!!!
I just got confirmation that they were shipped, so I am really looking forward to them getting here....Ryan is great to work with....The best part is that even though I ask 50 stupid questions...I will always get a reply... LOL cool in my book...

One of the things that I had in mind, was that I really wanted to find a way to hide my overflow...I was thinking of building a rock tower to try and hide it...then I was thinking of maybe epoxying live rock to the actual overflow..but I kept having nightmares of the rocks coming loose and down...
So what I finally decided to do was build a faux rock wall with live rock, Pond foam, eggcrate and 2 part epoxy..

I ordered 1/2" and 1/4" inch rod...but to me, the 1/4" was just a waste of money....They personally seemed to weak and flimsy for me to feel safe in stacking any rock with them.

I have a two brand new Reeflo Gold pumps that have the new motors. I was going to replace my Ampmasters as I am sick of their leaking seals, but the Reeflo's don't line up with my existing plumbing (I was hoping they might). After having them sit here in their boxes for a few months, it doesn't appear as though I am going to tear the plumbing out and redo it. One is a Snapper Gold & the other is a Dart Gold. I don't know if Mark has a pump for you or if he's just trying to get you to see the light:). If he doesn't have a pump for sale, PM me if you might be interested in either of the Reeflo's.

I know out of all my set up ...I knew the Mag would get the most flack!! Thats why I tried to blow right past it!! :)
anyways...does anyone know how to drill glass??
 
Dont know yet...ever since I got the "I got it" statement and seen his work...I've pretty much moved aside and asked no questions!! :) I think he may be done with the staining and finish work soon....
