Harmless or harmful?

My LR has some type of inverts that only come out at night and quickly go back into the rock when any type of light is turned on. What are they? Sry no pics, they are too quick...

They sound like peanut worms (Phylum Sipuncula). They seem to "curl" up their proboscis when disturbed. They are beneficial detritovores and spiffy animals.
