Has any brought a tank From the Lighthouse Corals guy

I was thinking of getting a tank and once you start add options to the Glasscages.com tanks it adds up very quick. Before you know it youre way over your budget. The guy is out of spring hill,TN. Glasscages just went up like $5-$10 ON MOST OF THERE tanks. It's getting too high for simple things from them. Saw this add this morning. I have seen them in action and they are nice tanks. When I have a place big enough for a custom tank, I will probably go that route myself, if that says anything.

I have also heard that glasscages can be hit or miss on quality. I don't KNOW that from exp. just what I have heard.

Those would be Ocea tanks. Great tanks and made in Alabama. Several in the club have used them and I haven't heard a bad thing yet. Personally, I plan on using them for my next tank if all goes well.

Ty makes a top notch product. I bought the custom 140 that Rhett has. I have seen several of his tanks and own two myself. He makes a good quality product at a competitive price. Glasscages gets more bad reviews than any other tank manufacturer that I have ever seen. I know that you will not be dissapointed with any of Ocea's tanks.

I think most likely the reason that Glass Cages gets such a bad rep is because they're usually not very nice. They're a wholesaler at heart methinks.

Yeah I have heard what people say about their tanks. Like I said earlier thay are getting too high. There prices keep going up. I know everything they sell hasnt jump up in price. From acrylic to glass, to overflows to bulkheads which are way overpriced. Then you have to drive way to dickson to pick it up or they charge $100.00 to ship in state like 40 mi. I can go to Atlanta and back 3 times for $100.00. Just not trying to break the bank with a cheap quality tank.

I just order a stand for my 180. And I told lighthouse how I want it. And was made just that. If I would of went with GC I would of paid $100 more and I would have to stain it myself and pick it up.Lighthouse and TY did me good. Also TY got it done less then 2weeks that's fast.GC had a month wait. Ill will ever go to GC for anything again.lighthouse allthe way:bounce1::spin3::wave:

Every tank I've seen that was made by TY was the best.

Also if you need livestock lighthouse.com are the best around. Always healthy and pest free.I know they will be get some nice looking clams sometime this week. Hope this and everones input helps you make your chose.
