Has anyone bought cleanup crews from ReefCleaners.org?

I bought from them twice.
My 1st experience was ok , so I figured I would order again.

My 2nd experience was not so pleasant.
My order was shorted and a lot of DOA.
After sending pictures to John, as another member stated,I noticed my account with a minimal credit.
After speaking with John we agreed for him to send me what was shorted and replace the DOA's instead of the credit.
The package was shipped for next day, so I stayed home awaiting the arrival, but didn't arrive for 2 days.
The temperature that night was 3 degrees and 13 during the day, so as you can imagine the contents didn't fair well.

So e-mailed John again who told me he would do nothing further since he spent $40.00 to have the package shipped, even though he would be fully refunded as I confirmed with USPS.
End result = no credit and missing a portion of my clean up crew.

Now almost 1 year later I'm in need of another clean up crew.
This time I'll spend a little more and support locale.

I also had a "not so pleasant" experience with them! I ordered CUC for my 75g with various snails and hermit crabs and a tuxedo urchin so I emailed first about the urchin to find out its color as my LFS had a very nice looking urchin for 30 at that time but reef cleaner had it for under ten dollars. They said it will of blue color which was not as good as the LFS but for the price I agreed and placed my order it arrived on time but when I open the box I found out that it was someone else's order with over ( I kid you not) 250 snails 200 hermit crabs two large brittle stars and one green emerald crab. I hate brittle star, 100 of seriths hanging on glass is very unsightly and no urchin. Emailed them they acknowledged the mistake but refused to send me the urchin saying I got way more then I paid for.

Personally, I've had the best "luck" each and every time that I've ordered any livestock from LiveAquaria. On the rare occasion that I receive a DOA specimen, they are very very very helpful issuing a credit to your account.

I like reef cleaners, but they shouldn't even offer two day.

Quoted for truth. No online livestock supplier should offer anything but NDA shipments.

I have ordered several times from them and will do so in the future. I ordered a little over 300 snails last year at Christmas time. I will not order around Xmas again for sure. The mail was backed up and it took waaaay longer then supposed to and was cold outside too. By the time the usps got the snails to where I live, I actually drove to the post office to get them on Xmas eve, it was around 6 days in transit. I floated them and released them and a couple days later they were still just laying on the sand. I sent john A bunch of pics and he resent the exact order to me again including the macro algae and mangroves that seemed to make it OK. The snails are kinda small but for the price hard to beat reefcleaners. Sorry you didn't have as good of an experience

I have ordered from them twice with good results. This time package was late and arrived at 62 degrees in a card board box this time not the usual Styrofoam I got before. Well waiting for a response, 3/4 of crabs dead, pods dead. The 3 large hermits made it but unknown if they will live. Will keep this post updated as today was the day of final arrival.

my first batch ($50) showed up about a week late and clearly dead. John had a new shipment on its way after the first was a couple days late as we both knew the original would be worthless when it did arrive. Second shipment came as expected and was great. Needless to say I need another shipment as moving tanks/sand I lost a lot. I also had a band of hermits wipe out a lot of snails.

They suck----bought blue legs----got a mixed bag of hermits...clearly just wanted to get the order out fast...never again.

I just ordered from them and not impressed...I ordered an emerald crab, serpent star, brittle star, mixed hermits and nerite snails

emerald crab and both stars were dead and it was one day shipping...the stars literally had no legs left on the body, how does that happen in one day?

I've had great luck with Reefcleaners in the past. I have an order that's supposed to arrive tomorrow but I expect a similar experience. I'll update if it's not.

They are my preferred source for cleanup crews if I want snails. Love the chitons and they are the only ones that sell them.

I got my order yesterday morning. In some cases I got almost double of what I ordered. I opted for the free priority shipping and everything seems to be alive and kicking so far. I know that the snails sometimes take a few days to come around.

They don't ship to Canada, anyone know of a place that sells a lot of great cleaning crew like these folks to Ontario Canada?

Ordered from them. Took the day off to receive that order.
Order came today as expected.
Opened box only to find its not my order.

Furthermore, the order contained two crabs. One is huge 2 1/2" to 3" in size (dead) sitting in about 1" of water. Probably reason it's dead.
A smaller crab 1/2" (dead)
A bag of algagen pods which looks to be dead. (Not 100% sure)
A bag of pods???? If so there are three visible big pods alive. No other movement.
A 1/4 cup of chaeto
A bag with a shell in it, not a crab but maybe a mussel? (Status unknown)
A bag with with 7 snails (no water not sure dead or alive)

Have not heard back from them.
