gracilaria is used commercially to great extents. its recommended as a stable, safe, decorative, hardy, fast growing macro that can be effectively used for nutrient export. for best results have lots of flow, creating a tumbling motion.
apparently humans, fish and inverts love to eat it.
'Ogo' is the Hawaiian name, I believe, which is more popular than the type harvested from florida.
I've had some for a couple of weeks, I think its growing; I havn't set up appropriate water flow yet. I'm not really sure which type i have.
