Has anyone, just when you get the tank where you want it, change it all around?

I really like how 3/4 of my tank looks, but I want to change the aquascaping in a few placees. Problem is the parts I want to change would require me to remove almost all corals to my frag tank and sump while I made the changes. Im sure it would take most of a day, and I dont want to do anything that would be detremental to my corals.

Has anyone undertaken this level of lunacy and made it work for them?
