Has anyone kept an Indigo Hamlet?

We saw several of these on some recent dives in the Caribbean and they are beautiful fish. Research says they are max 6" and "reef safe with caution". I take it that means inverts are in danger?

Anyone with experience keeping them? I've actually found a source for one.

I would ask this question in aggressive fish. You often see them kept with sharks and rays since they won't pick at them. I would assume they will eat anything that will fit in their mouth

I have kept them, and other hamlets in mixed reefs. They are secretive until established. Hardy, easy to feed. They are relatively peaceful, but will definitely defend their cave. They can eat inverts, but most fish will eat anything that fits in their mouth if the opportunity presents itself.

I currently have an indigo hamlet and shy hamlet. I had the indigo hamlet for around 1.5 years. It is a secretive fish as stated above but will become bold as time go on.It will eat small fish that are probably 2 inches or less. It's not really an aggressive fish but can hold its own. I have it in a mixed reef with some snails and everything was fine. They will eat almost anything including pellets. Try to provide plenty of caves for the hamlet to hide.
