Has anyone tried adding a flame angel with an estalbish coral beauty pair?

Well guys I just picked up a nice looking tricolor at about 8pm :)

I done a bunch of reading on it while at work in my down time. (very slow day :)
And fill it should be a good angle to go with my potter.

So for know I have it in a isolation tank but not sure if I will keep him in it or not. The tank is a 24x12x12 with my kolora250 some cheato and a fluval U1 (spong filter was in 120g sump for 3 weeks socking) and of course a heater and PVC T's
If you want to advise on what you would do next please shoot me a pm. But I'll try to keep you posted sence your also wanting to group up dwarf angles.

By my own confession, I am no guru of dwarf angels - but I have been around the traps a while :) My advice would be keep him in the isolation tank for a while, for two reasons:
1. The usual q-tine reasons, to prevent disease spreading into your main tank.
2. Just as pertinent in this case, the little guy has been moved about quite a lot recently getting from the reef to your home. His competitors in your established tank will take advantage of him being a bit run down. Give him time to rest in your q-tine tank, get used to artificial lighting and prepared food-stuffs; once he is feeding well, is no longer terrified of you, and appears to be moving around his tank naturally, then he is ready for a boxing bout in your tank - otherwise, it could be lambs to the slaughter. This applies to any fish, especially if being into a tank where you suspect there may be trouble.

thanks for all the postive replies folks. gonna set the q-tine tank up now and will hopefully have a flame angel by the weekend :)

Mission to aquire a suitable flame angel this weekend failed. Next weekend, attempt 2.

Meanwhile I came accross a pair of flame hawkfish - might snap them up instead; an unusual find in these parts :) But the flame angel trial will go ahead, if not next week, then next month :D

Update: Got a flame

Update: Got a flame

OK guys - I promised an update, so here it is.

I got a flame angel. Lovely little specimen, very red :) About 2".

Meanwhile, I lost the female coral beauty. So now left with the male. He's about 2.5".

Introduced the flame, coral beauty went nuts for a few minutes - then the flame pushed back and all but turned the tables on him. I think ounce for ounce, flames are one of the tougher little angels.

Conclusion - all is well, they are now totally ignoring one another.
