Has anyone tried these systems, or know anything about them? I have a cistern so wasting no water (waste water) is a big thing for me. right now I buy water.

Just get a 5 stage system from airwaterice.com for about $220 unless you pay a lot for your original water. Neither of the above systems has a RO membrane and they rely heavily on DI beads which will IMO have to be replaced quite often to keep up your output water quality. One option is to run the waste water to your washing machine or some other water hungry appliance. The waste water isn't horrible and can still be used for many things.

BTW you won't find a zero waste water unit with a RO though because all RO's that I know of have a good water output and a waste water output. You may actually do better just buying RO water from the store in jugs or by the gallon from you LFS.
