Has anyone used injection molding for a custom part?

I'm looking for a custom part that I cannot find on the market anymore, and thinking of bringing it to a plastic manufacturer located near me in Las Vegas. I read this article on injection molding and think they can do it but am worried it might cost a lot. Dies anyone have any suggestions on a good website to find parts for pumps?

What part are you looking for? As someone who appraised injection molding machines and dies for years, having someone custom make one will cost you a fortune for one or two parts.
