Has anyone used these T5 bulbs before?

I just purchased two Wave Point ultra growth T5 bulbs from Amazon and they will be delivered on Friday. I have T5s supplementing a 250w halide. I had actinic bulbs but had to take them out because it was messing with my vision. I had lasik surgery a couple years ago and I read the wave length of actinic bulbs is very bad for your eyes.

I replaced them with a 10k Coralife and although the blue is gone I still like the brightness. I read that the red spectrum is great for growing coral. These bulbs have a blue spectrum but peak around the 680nm range.

Has anyone had any luck or input in these bulbs?

They're no ATI but...I have used Wave Point. They are a good bulb but as the first person to respond said, Those particular bulbs are for growing plants. Look for their Reef Bulbs. 14-20000k. Dont know what youve got but look for ATI on amazon. Buy a couple blue plus a purple plus and mayne a coral plus. They are 21 bux a bulb amd if you've got Prime, shipping is free.
Hope this helps

Says for use on reefs. Thats a BS statement. They do have reef bulbs but no one is going to sell me nor would I biy a product that says 6500k will grow anything but a green mess in your tank. LED and T5 both have some of that wavelength blended in but that bulb is not one od those.
