Has anyone used zomania,com

I was in Ohio last week speaking at two aquarium clubs and stopped in at a store that had a wonderful collection of corals, actually the best I've seen in a long time. Not only quality, but quantity and also a nice selection of frags they do in store.
Serdar, who owns the store was very nice, I hand picked some great corals and he shipped them to me upon my return back to NY. The packing job was also excellent.
He also has an online service at:

Well I talked to chad, and he can't ship out my rics on monday, so we worked out shipping out on wednesday, i will get them thursday and have the pics up by thursday night at the latest. ;D

Chad seems like a really nice guy, and got back to me right away about not being able to ship it when I asked and was more than willing to work something out. I'd recommend zomania.com, definitly can't wait to get them :)

I like fragglereef, I don't know if he has a sponsor forum here but check out the responses from people in the feedback forum on nano-reefs. I have ordered from them 3x and have had awsome orders.

I ordered from coralfanatics and was happy with the pieces I got, although there was slight confusion with my order.

Premiumaquatics has some corals and they have AWSOME customer service, although I never ordered corals from them. I got 35lbs live rock and most of my dry goods and equipment.

It's always helpful to share the experience if you know some good vendors.

I have been buying dry goods and equipments mostly from Champion Lighting for the past 15 years and are very happy with their service.

Recently I tried several orders direct with Premium Aquatics after participating the Group Buy with NJ Reefer Club in Sept., I was amazed by the services and prices from them. Immediately after the shipment, I received email notices of the invoice and UPS tracking, I can click the UPS tracking link and know exactly where the shipment is, it is expecially helpful if you are not a good planner and always do not place your order until the last minute.

Different from some vendors not telling you which items are out of stock when you place the order, and you are angry and upset to find that the most important item is missing when you receive your shipment 10 days later, their web site clearly indicates those items which are out of stock, and they seem to have good inventory. I ordered 4 units of Wavysea by 1pm Thursday, and received the shipment by 10am Monday. Their customer service is also very knowledgeable and friendly, I hope one day our club can organize some group buys similar to NJ Reefer Club and help the members save some money.

I still buy some items from "Marine Depot" because they have the best website, and I feel guilty by just using their website without buying anything. They are too far away from New York, and mostly their prices are higher than Premium Aquatics and Champion.

I was not aware that Premium Aquatics selling live stocks, I will possibly give them a try.

Looking forword to showing you the mess of my 400G new tanks setup in our LIRA monthly meeting which will be hold by 7pm this Friday at my office.

checked out the site and it has definitely got my attention...can't wait to see pictures

you didn't happen to ask what kind of lighting he's been keeping them under did you?

no, i didn't ask him, but mine are going under stock BC14 lights, 2 24w PCs, so ill tell you how it works out, or if i can quick cycle my 5.5g one or two would go in there under 36w of PC

I think I'm gonna let the 5.5g cycle it out though, so probably be in my BC for a while

If this works out well, I am going to order a rics package from them, if anyone wants to join in just let me know.

thanks

I am sure that you will have good luck. I have been to chads store many times and he has great livestock and great prices. He also has some of the best invert prices I have seen.

Heres some pictures of the rics like i promised ;D

I like em, i was expecting them to be on plugs or something, they're attached to some stuff so im not exactly sure how to get them to attach to what i want...but im really happy with the colors.

if there is any rubble on the bottom you can use crazy glue gel and stick them to whatever wherever you want....i'm liking that 50 for 450 deal...plus free shipping!

All ricordea have to be chipped from larger rocks, so they will be attached to small bits of rocks or rubble, etc. We do sometimes mount to plugs, but a lot of people do not like plugs and they do well just on rubble and the rubble gives you something to glue to if needed. Almost all of our zoanthids are on plugs, because they are easier to farm that way and organize, but rics usually just stay on rubble. Thanks, Chad

Hmm, ok, I'll have to figure out exactly where I want to put them then. :) They look great though, I'm very happy with them.

I'm not lettin them get killed by cyano ;x
and Im ready to take my stuff back when your cyano is gone for good I'd probly sell ya one of em cheap ;x

they look very good, I'm going to order a pack on Monday for delivery next week, just not sure what size pack.

Thanks again for the photo's

Gus
