Has coralife changed their salt mix?

I just bought a couple of buckets of coralife salt. I've been using the salt for approximately 5 years. Typically I buy on boxing day enough salt for the year and just go through it. This year I never got around to getting any and was just about out. So I head over to the lfs that carries it and much to my surprise they changed the bucket size to 200g. I didn't even notice until I got to the cash as I was just trying to manage carrying 2 buckets.

So now that I'm home I notice on the side it says calcium 390-410 (at 1.021-1.023). The old coralife always mixed at 500+ so much so that I never dosed calcium only alk and water changes had always been enough for my mixed reef. I never even needed to test since everything was pretty much dialed in with 20g water changes and the fact I have very few sps.

I will have to pick up some new calcium test kits but in the mean time I'm wondering if anyone can confirm they have indeed cut the calcium?

Are you mixing your saltwater at 1.025-1.026? Higher salinity will be higher calcium, I believe it should still be in the 500 range at that level.

I am indeed mixing at 1.026

A couple of other things. The "old" 150g buckets also say 390-410 but as you mentioned that is for lower then nsw conditions. I also do seem to have an elos calcium test kit. I just tested my pico which receives a 50% water change almost weekly at 500 so despite the fact the test kit is old still seems to be accurate or accurateish.

When I make new water I will test the new buckets but I believe it's the same old salt in new larger buckets.
