Has ORA increased their price on Picassos?

Grade Bs around her average about $50/each, whereas the Grade As go for around $100+/each, but the price is going up some. I paid $90 for my Grade B pair.

yup. B grade picasso's arent as expensive. They'r still very cool fish, whether they are A or B grade. I'm waiting for my tank to "mature" and im going to add two juvenile picassos and take out my false percs.

Basser. from what you describe it does sound like one is becoming female, and that one should put on a growth spurt and gain a half inch to an inch on the other fish, which should be on its way to become a male.
As for Grade A and grade B, it does depend on the amount of white, and I've heard it said that on true Grade A the second and third bars have to connect. As for lfs prices, they have their employees to pay, overhead and all that good stuff. Also, it used to be to get two (2) Picasso clowns from ORA, you had to be a good customer, order a whole bunch of other clowns and corals in order to be "eligible" to get Picasso's, and then wait six months until two were available.

where is the best place to get Grade A Picasso's?

thanks in advance.. :)

You can find some on-line. I got mine from my local fish store, which is an ORA dealer.

Just a side note: I noticed the clowns from LiveAquaria are gone! So I guess somebody really liked them! ;)

I paid $145 with tax for a mated grade B pair
My husband really wanted a pair of picassos or onyx for father's day

The difference between a Grade "A" and a Grade "B" is that the 2nd and third stripe on at least one side has to connect on a Grade "A".

Nice pair of clowns Basser1 :)
Picassos are the coolest.. tank bred PLUS unique coloration on each fish!

I just got four grade A young ones can't wait to watch them grow up. It is true fish stores can only order 2 along with many more fish, then they have to wait and wait till they can order 2 more later. Got mine at a local fish store. Will post pic when I can get them all in one.

Is this the same Doni that has the breeding pair of Picassos? If so, you have some terrific Picassos fry coming up!

Oh my gosh, I just read thru your entire thread & the little ones are amazing already! I love crazy head markings the most!
