Has Southdown ever been available in the Chicago area?

I have about 40 bags +/- (I'd have to count to be exact) that I picked up awhile ago that I'd be willing to part with. I'm located in Oshkosh, WI. Contact me at dobish@charter.net if you're interested.

I know for a fact that some of this sand a year or so ago was being unloaded in New Jersey. I dont know how it is being used or sold. It is used in concrete mostly.

If you can find someone to put an eye on it in a Home Depo somewhere you can get the pallet transfered to a store near you. Just remember that they use the same upc for differant sand in different regions.

I have 500 lbs of southdown that you can have for free.
I'm moving both of my tanks and will not need the sand.

I live in Aurora, near I-88 & Rt 59.
PM me for my address and to set-up a time to pick-up.

The sand I have is Live sand. The system is still running and the sandbed is healthy and filled with life.

PM me if you are interested in Live sand. I have about 300 lbs remaining. FREE, just bring a bucket

Is anyone going up to dobish to pick up some in WI and live an hour or less away from Oswego? If so, I would be willing to give you $10/bag for your troubles.

dobish is the guy in WI that actually has southdown sitting around, not the live sand in aurora.

That wouldn't be so funny if I hadn't actually tried to keep some calerpa in my main tank. You cannot keep SOME.
