Has this been done yet?

Just now starting to seriously get into zoas (coming from SPS) I have amassed about 8 hrs of reading the the last 2 days. I have learned a ton of great info from you guys/gals. Thanks btw.

What I'm wondering is, has anybody done a concise step by step "just got new Zoanthids/Paly" thread? This thread would have to assume a certain amount of basic SW knowledge is present. For example.

Zoa/paly prep
1. min/preferred lighting
2. food??
4. flow
5. meds

1. Float bag-20min
2. drip acclimate-1hr
3. Perform Freshwater Lugol/Furan 2/FWE dip-15 min
Short concise dip instructions go here.
4. place in tank. High/med flow low light area.
5. etc, etc.

Common zoa/paly questions/issues
1. How long to open
2. Zoa pox/cure
pics
3. Nudi plague/cure
Pics
4. Bacterial/fungus-cure
pics

etc etc etc

I ask this because as you all know it is seriously painful to read a 15 page long post and I tend to see the same questions asked over and over. I know, I have done it myself...sorry.
Also I know not everybody agrees on all aspects but common middle ground can be reached.
Anyways I would be happy to do it but my knowledge is about mmmm 3 days old now when it comes to zoanthids. I would be happy to collaborate via e-mail/phone with some of the zoanthid "experts" (MuchoReef) on here to develop and post.
Anybody interested?

Yes I have read the Zoanthid information draft sticky. Great info but about 500 pages and many times you have to get to page ten to find what you want.

Don't get me wrong you guys rock as evidenced by your tanks and I am incredibly grateful to you all for sharing your hard earned information. I am just looking to help the new Zoa people (myself included) and hopefully keep them from having to read until their eyes bleed and save some zoas in the process ;)

I am not the class of Mucho, but I can give you a few pointers and I have a few zoos as well.
Feel free to PM me your # and I will call or vice versa as your questions would take WAY too much typing.
It is always nice to see a reefer take to zoas-they are addictive! Good luck and happy reefing
