Hasselt's Goby-Not Much Love

So, in all my searches on RC, I can only find one prior mention of Callogobius hasseltii, Hasselt's flap-headed goby. Has anyone kept one before? Any stories to share? Any pairs out there?

I've had mine for a month, and he's a great fish. Not flashy, but extremely interesting. Never leaves the bottom of the tank, personable and interactive, and a good scavenger.

Sorry no info from me never had one or knew anyone that has. I like the look of him though, I am partial to gobies, blennies, and jawfish.

What does he eat?

I love gobies and blennies as well--they are the only fish I have (flaming prawn goby, red headed goby, neon goby x 2, masked goby x 2, tailspot blenny, clown goby, Rainford's goby, Hasselt's goby). I have 3 nanos, and I spend hours watching them.

The Hasselt's goby is an easy keeper. He eats frozen mysis, Hikari s pellets and pretty much any small meaty food that will fit in his mouth. We call him "the sculpin," because he looks just like one..if you do any river fishing, you may have seen these:

I know this post is a little old...but I just acquired one and released out of QT today. Cool little guy...my swallow tail hawk fish followed it down to the bottom of the tank and looked it over. I was a little concerned that my molly millers blenny might mess with it but the blenny just swam and perched on the rock right over the new guy...after I walked away and came back....the guy was gone into the rocks...nothing like 150+ lbs of rock for him to hide in...lol!
