I have tried every position and I still can't get sand to stay in center front of tank. Any ideas? Should I aim them toward rear instead? Power down to 80%.

If you mounted on the back facing the front panel, more than likely you will have turbulence. If you mount the pump on the side panel point straight to the other side you should not have any problem with sand stirred up

That is how I now have it. On sides toward rear facing side panels. Still having sand problems in front center.

210

210

210 gallon located at top of tank about 5 inches in from rear. Hanging on magnets about 7-8 inches below surface of water. Magnets are at top of tank.

If im understanding, you have power to 80%? Turn it down more. People with Tunzes must often come to the dificult decision of sand or flow, because both are always a realistic option.

I got a 150 gallon tank with 2 6100 about 80 full power and no sand problem.. You need to tilt the tunze magnet on an angle so that the tunze is pushing more water up... So tilt the back of the magnet down and leave the front of the magnet higher....

See if that works out...

Sorry

Sorry

I don't undstand what you mean. Currently, my tunzes are verticle hanging off verticle magnets. Obviously, Tunzes hang below bottom of magnet.

Below are the pics, sorry the tank lights are not on yet... So the sand pic came out crappy...

I will try. Thanks for your help. Where are your tunzes pointed? What % power do you run?

What are your tank dimensions?

I got my tunze point to the front of the glass, they are angle so that one side hits the magnet....

The power setting they are on is interval 2, max power is 2 lines to max so 80% and then 50% one for the pulse...

Also my tank dimensions are 72 L x 18 W x 28 H

Let me know if that help at all.....

i have a 90 with a 6100 on 100% - 30% and have no problems with sand being blown around.
