have a newb question

Just curious how long saltwater can be stored in a bucket before it "spoils." I usually make it and mix it the day before a water change but this week got caught up doing other chores and couldnt get around to the water change. Any help is appreciated!!! Happy Easter!!!!

I dont know whats recommended but with circulation I have left it a week

I make 40 gallons at a time and do 15 gallon changes about every other week some times once a week but have had the water circulating and heated for three weeks or so with no adverse affects, there is a little precipitate in my barrel but thats all.IMHO It is good practice to have a decent amount of water mixed and heated on hand in case of emergencies.

Eh, I've left it for 2 months before covered in a dark basement... Had to top it off with a little RO water, but it was fine to use.

It can be kept idefinitely and ready for use with a bit of circulation if it's covered to minimize pollutants from the air,ime. FWIW
I keep 20 gallons ready to go continuously.
