Have Semi Emergency looking for help in Natomas

Guys, guys, guys I have another task that needs some muscular power so you haven't missed out yet!! I need to pick up my tank and get it in the house. I am sure I can get the tank home, but I know I can't bring it in alone. I am hoping to get it either tomorrow night, Friday night or Saturday so I can get started on hooking everything up. Anyone up to a little more lifting? I brought about 25 more corals to my new house tonight, so there are more frags to choose from! Plus, I accidentally made about 8 pink jade frags from tiny to not as tiny. :)

I get off work around 5pm in Davis. I have to get Brian to drill the holes for bulkheads while I am there, so for tonight it would probably be 6:30 or 7pm. Or Saturday any time works for me.

kim, i'd love to lend a hand but i'm on the injured reserve list :(. with you in spirit though :)

Thanks Kevin and Jeff. I have posted another thread to see if anyone else is available tonight.

Tim - what did you do? Sorry your hurt . . .you can come see the tank after I get it set up :)

Hey Kevin/Jeff,

Will your truck hold an eight foot long tank? It is 3' wide. I am sure I can get it in my element, but it would hang out and I would have to use rope, etc.

Kim,
I have a Chevy Avalanche. The bed is 8'3" when I put the backseats down and "transform" it into a full truck bed. My only concern is the height of the tank., since it will have to fit underneat the roofline. It should work though...I love my truck! :D

I dont know if I can make it there tonight, but ya'll can borrow my truck if needed. I have held many of 8 footers in there before (Dodge 1500 4x4). Its only used really to move tanks around, and the occasional rental property repair. I just ask that you be FULLY insured, not be under the influence, feed it a little gas, not go 4 wheeling (without me), etc. etc.
